Lock & Leave Employee Spotlight: Lou Tobias

Today's employee spotlight features Lou Tobias. We asked her a few questions about her experience with Lock & Leave so far:


1. What is your role/job title at Lock & Leave? Briefly describe how your role helps customers.

As the Property Manager of Lock & Leave, I am responsible for ensuring facility operations are carried out in a timely and efficient manner. I aim to assist as many customers as possible with a multitude of different needs.


2. How long have you been with the company?

I've been a proud member of Lock & Leave for 8 months now, and I'm excited about the potential future opportunities that await me throughout my career.


3. What do you enjoy most about working at Lock & Leave?

At Lock & Leave, we proudly work as a team committed to achieving our goals and milestones. With the support of my management team, I feel confident that we will always go above and beyond expectations to serve our customers' needs. I strive to ensure everyone is treated with the utmost respect to the best of my ability.


4. Please share a positive experience you've had with a customer.

Recently, a customer was searching for a storage company to meet their specific needs. Although they had inquired about another company, I politely explained why Lock & Leave might be a better fit. I emphasized our exceptional customer service and shared my business card along with more information. Just a few minutes later, they chose to rent with us — they appreciated the honesty, respect, and trust I conveyed.


5. What do you enjoy doing when you're not working? Any hobbies or pastimes?

I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. Prior to Covid, I loved going to movies, sporting events, amusement parks, concerts, and fine dining. During Covid, I spent more time reading and watching crime series and documentaries.


6. If you could describe yourself in 3 words, what would they be?

I consider myself to be respectful, loyal, and kind. I treat every customer with the highest level of care and would never recommend a service I wouldn't use myself.


7. What have you learned about working at Lock & Leave?

The company cares about their employees and customers equally. By maintaining a balanced approach to service and quality, they understand that treating employees well leads to greater customer satisfaction.


8. Please provide any additional information you would like to share.

I'm very happy to be part of the Lock & Leave family. I represent the company in a friendly and professional manner 100% of the time. My favorite saying is, "A smile doesn't cost a thing, but it can make a big difference in someone's day."
